Foreign citizens reduce operations with bank cards in Azerbaijan by 18.5%

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov of the year 2.9 million foreigners and stateless persons from 192 countries of the world arrived in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communication that this figure is by 11% more versus the same period of 2018. In November the number of foreign citizens arriving in Azerbaijan increased by 13.3%. Operations carried out by them through bank cards grew by 18.5% (against last November) up to AZN 90.3 million.

In general, for Jan-Nov 2019 the cost of operations on bank cards of foreign citizens who arrived in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.164 bn.
