December 30, Fineko/abc.az. According to Central Bank’s data, as of 1 November 2019 the amount of population’s deposits at banks in national currency grew by 8.2% (against the 2018 same term) up to AZN 811.1 million.

The State Statistics Committee informs that 55.4% of deposits are in foreign currency and 44.6% in the national currency. Deposits in the national currency increased by 32.3% (versus the 2018 same term) and deposits in foreign currency decreased by 5.6%.

In November the average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70 (at the beginning of the year – AZN 1.70), to 1 euro – AZN 1.88 (at the beginning of the year – AZN 1.91), and 100 Russian rubles – AZN 2.66 (at the beginning of the year – AZN 2.62).
