Qafqaz Resort Hotel is closing as part of a large-scale renovation plan that will begin in January, and in May the hotel will re-open its doors to guests. Standard rooms, junior suites, royal rooms, presidential suites, royal suites and family suites will be temporarily closed until May due to renovations. The holding company reports that the hotel is expected to be overhauled - the upcoming repairs will relate to the whole Qafqaz Resort Hotel, as a result of which the updated exterior and interior of the hotel will give unforgettable experience to its guests.

The hotel has been operating since 2008.
