Central Bank raised AZN 150 million in this year`s first deposit auction

January 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan raised AZN 150 million in the 2020 first deposit auction for the banks.

"On 7 January the CBA held the first deposit auction in 2020, which raised AZN 150 million. The offer during the auction amounted to AZN 909.1 million. The weighted average bid during the auction made up 5.76%," the CBA said.

The funds were raised for the period of 14 days.

The CBA started holding deposit auctions in June 2016.
