Interests on loans in Azerbaijan reduced

January 7, Fineko/abc.az. Interest rates on loans have decreased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank's data that the average interest rate on loans in Azerbaijan has decreased by 0.5% over the past year.

It should be noted that if at the end of 2018 the average interest rate on loans in Azerbaijan was 11.8%, then as of 1 December 2019 it fell to 11.3%.

The reduction in the cost of loans occurred due to loans in dollars. Thus, if at the end of 2018 the interest rate on dollar loans in Azerbaijan was 8.1%, this year this figure has decreased to 6.2%.

The interest rate on loans in mantas remains unchanged at the level of 14.2%.
