Gold reserves increased almost by 3,000 tons


January 13, Fineko/abc.az. The market value of gold in international funds increased by 37% (compared with 2018) reached $141 bn last year.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in World Gold Council’s (WGC) report Global Flow of Gold-Based Stocks in 2019.

According to data, last year gold reserves increased by 400 tons versus 2018) and amounted to 2.881 tons. Thus, the historical record for gold was repeated.

In 2019 global uncertainties and "trade wars" sent investors to gold - the so-called safe port.
