January 14, Fineko/abc.az. Significant changes have occurred in the expenditures of State Budget 2019.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov at the 13 January meeting devoted to the results of 2019 and presided by the country’s leader.

He justified this by the fact that there were certain changes in the structure of expenditures.

"It is linked with double growth of the minimum wage in 2019 and its financial support," the minister added.

Stressing that one of the important elements of country’s budget 2019 is the solution of problem loans of individuals, Sharifov stressed that in this regard, important measures were taken in State Budget 2019: "Funds in the amount of AZN 640 million were provided for transfer from the State Budget to the accounts of the relevant banks at the Central Bank. Due to this, 593,000 individuals received significant support from the state in connection with problem loans. At the same time, an important step in solving the matter of problem loans of individuals was the extension of the term of loans given in manats up to five years, as well as fixing the interest rate at the level of 1%. In this regard, the loans given in the amount of AZN 214.5 million were given by the Central Bank with the state guarantee of the Ministry of Finance. As for State Budget 2020, this is the largest budget in the history of Azerbaijan."
