January 14, Fineko/abc.az. “I’ve said this before, and I want to say again that a lot of educational work should be done in Azerbaijan on the process of property insurance. Citizens should know that housing and property must be insured,” stated the country’s leader at yesterday’s meeting dedicated to the results of 2019.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that there are large gaps in this area in Azerbaijan, and the state has taken over the entire financial burden. The head of state said that this certainly required a lot of money, but the comfort of citizens, their well-being, and normal life are the main issue: "But I believe this year and in the following years very serious steps should be taken related to property insurance, including education in the area. In this regard, it is necessary to hold various events and inform citizens in details about the steps being taken. I task the government to pay attention to this question. At the same time, that will have positive impact on the development of our country's insurance sector."
