January 15, Fineko/abc.az. The State Motor Road Agency has submitted the concept of toll road Alat-Astara to the Cabinet Ministers.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Agency’s chairman Saleh Mammadov at a press conference.

According to Mammadov, the purchase of the necessary devices on toll roads will be carried out through a tender: "We are considering the world market. We’ll agree with any company that will offer the most suitable prices for turnstiles to be installed on the toll parts of the highway. The price will be fixed by the Tariff Council. For information, I’d like to inform that the new highway in the direction of Alat-Astara will reduce the distance to 39 km from the existing road. I would say that even if the road is paid, the price will correspond to the budget of citizens."
