Azerbaijan and Russia activate process of organizing joint supplies and production

December 25, Fineki/abc.az. The opening of the Russian Export Centre has been held in Baku today.

At the opening ceremony Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin claimed that opening of the REC in Azerbaijan will not only enable to increase deliveries of Russian products, but also will allow creation of chains of joint and value added production.

"Once, we’ve discussed this subject with President Ilham Aliyev and stressed the importance of such cooperation. And our relations will develop and diversify only through such cooperation," the minister said.

In his turn, Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev of Azerbaijan stated that two countries’ relationships are constantly developing in all directions.

"As for bilateral economic ties, our countries’ trade turnover has been growing steadily and investments are developing. Today's meeting will allow determining the areas that will give grounds for further growth of trade turnover and mutual investments. We constantly apply new tools, and creation of the REC is one of them," Mustafayev said.
