Debt of Azerbaijan Industry Bank to Central Bank formed – over AZN 105,000

January 21, Fineko/abc.az. The debt of the Azerbaijan Industry Bank (ASB) to the Central Bank has formed.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to ASB’s final financial statements for 2019 that last year ASB owed AZN 105.086 to the CBA.

According to the report, Bank's total liabilities for 2019 amounted to AZN 885.499 million. This figure is by AZN 155.217 million or 21.2% more against 2018. Thus, in 2018 Bank's liabilities amounted to AZN 730.28 million.

Most of ASB’s liabilities for the past year were deposits of AZN 715.127 million or 80.7%.

Bank's other obligations were a deposit of AZN 114 million invested in ASB by banking and financial institutions. In addition, the total amount of loans received by ASB from financial institutions, excluding other banks, amounted to AZN 44.908 million and other liabilities AZN 12.27 million.

This is not the first time when ASB’s debt to the CBA has formed. So, the last time ASB’s debt to the Central Bank for the first 9 months of 2017 totaled AZN 10 million.
