January 23, Fineko/abc.az. An auction on the placement of short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan is to be conducted.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku Stock Exchange that the auction will be held on 24 January.

The amount of the notes put up for the auction is AZN 30 million, the nominal value of each note is 100 manats, the circulation term of the notes is 252 days, and the maturity date is 5 October 2020.

The total number of applications submitted by each bank must not exceed 2 (1 competitive and 1 non-competitive). Non-competitive orders may be accepted, provided that no more than 20% of the issued notes.

Calculations on closed transactions as a result of the auction will be carried out in T+1 regime.

Only local banks operating with license can act as buyers of CBA’s short-term notes.
