Azerbaijan observes fall in poultry meat and rise in egg production

January 24, Fineko/abc.az. The poultry meat production in Azerbaijan has decreased while the production of eggs increased.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that as of 1 January of the year poultry farms of Azerbaijan produced 67,200 tons of poultry meat in live weight that is by 7,200 tons or 9.67% less than on 1 January 2019 (74,400 tons of poultry meat).

The country produced 764.5 million eggs as of 1 January 2019 (by 124.3 million or 19.4% more than on 1 January 2019 - 640.2 million eggs.
