January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Six ASAN centers and one ASAN Kommunal center are likely to open in 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Ulvi Mehdiyev, the chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Services & Social Innovations, at a press conference dedicated to the results of last year.

He mentioned the districts where the centers will start operating: "Two ASAN centers and one ASAN Kommunal center are expected to open in the Tovuz, Balakan, Kurdamir, Agjabedi districts and Baku. At the same time, it is planned to open new incubation & acceleration centers INNOLAND, hold the opening of an Azerbaijani innovation house in Silicon Valley, and organize international event StartupFest 2019."

The chairman also underlined that ABAD packaging factory will be opened in Guba. He noted that so far 830,000 manats of investments have been raised for startups.
