Foreigners` bank card operations in Azerbaijan lowered in 2019

January 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications has presented a new issue of the Export Review.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Export Review that 3.2 million foreigners and stateless persons from 193 countries visited Azerbaijan in 2019 (rise of 11.3% against 2018).

In December 2019 the operations they made using bank cards reached AZN 92.7 million (by 11.8% more versus December 2018).

In general, for Jan-Dec 2019 the transactions through bank cards of foreign citizens arriving in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 1.257 bn (by 1.7% less against 2018).
