February 6, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of securities transactions conducted at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January 2020 has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the BSE that operations on securities in the amount of AZN 667,283,378 were carried out during the reported term.

For the 2019 same term the operations amounted to AZN 1,512,488,342. This means that in January 2020 there was a decrease in the volume of initial placement on the securities market since last year. However, an increase of 359% in the total volume of trade in the secondary market was recorded.

It should be noted that the capitalization of the Baku Stock Exchange on the last trading day of January 2020 amounted to AZN 3,841,280,572.82.
