Companies` finances at banks of Azerbaijan unveiled – rise by AZN 2.5 bn

February 7, Fineko/abc.az. Last year the amount of Azerbaijani companies’ finances in bank accounts increased by AZN 2.507 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Central Bank’s statistics that legal entities’ deposits amounted to AZN 12.819 bn as of 31 December 2019. This amount reached AZN 10.31 bn at the end of 2018.

As for term deposits of legal entities, they also increased by AZN 1.156 bn up to AZN 2.606 bn, while demand deposits by AZN 1.35 bn up to AZN 10.213 bn. Last year the deposits of individuals engaged in business grew by AZN 24.3 million up to AZN 130 million.
