February 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is the main country in Georgia's trade turnover.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy & Sustainable Development of Georgia, after a meeting with Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov in Tbilisi.

The Georgian minister noted that about 700 Azerbaijani companies are operating in Georgia currently. Turnava noted that a number of new projects were discussed at the meeting with Jabbarov, including the development of the Middle Corridor by rail, energy and logistics.

"By working together, we can increase the competitiveness of the corridor. This will also be useful for both countries," the Georgian minister said.
