February 11, Fineko/abc.az. Baku will host a conference on the theme "Tax Reforms: Together from Shadow to Light".

ABC.AZ reports that at the conference Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov spoke about the reforms in the economy and tax system of Azerbaijan in 2019, the principles of work of tax authorities with entrepreneurs.

The minister noted that in 2019 transparency processes were expanded in the economy, and serious steps were taken to reduce the scale of the shadow economy: "The steps taken recently in the context of establishing transparent relations laid the foundation for new transformation in the state-business relationship. Moderate tax control, as well as the introduction of new mechanisms for tax incentives, led to the fact that business, although partially, came out of the shadows. In general, the positive approach of the business community to the context of new relations once again proves the correctness, transparency and lack of alternatives of the pursued policy."
