Taxpayer who doesn`t install a POS terminal at his facility to be fined


February 14, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from 2020 financial sanctions will be applied for those who do not install POS terminals and refuse to accept non-cash payments at facilities.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion at the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy that in this regard, Article 58.7 of the Tax Code, which entered into force on 1 January 2020, has been amended.

Thus, with the exception of cases when carrying out trading activities, for violation of the rules for conducting cash payments, that is, conducting cash payments with the population without using cash registers or strict reporting forms, using cash registers that have not been registered with tax authorities or do not meet technical requirements, without using strict reporting forms established by law, or using strict reporting forms that do not correspond to the form, approved in accord with the established procedure is considered a violation of the law.

It should be noted that in the first case when the taxpayer makes such breaches he will be fined 1,000 manats and 3,000 or above – 6,000 manats in the second case.
