February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The details of work on the Baku-Sumgait road, which is now under reconstruction, have been unveiled.

ABC.AZ reports that in connection with the expansion of two lanes of the road from Sumgait towards Baku, an environmental control post will be demolished, and a new one in a more modern form will be built next to it.

When expanding the road, a new tunnel road to run through the Baku International Bus Terminal complex and the Shooting Center under the "outer circular" road entering into Sharifzadeh Street will be constructed. Through this tunnel, motor vehicles will move in the direction of settlement Alatava to the January 20 Circle, and along Sharifzadeh Street in the other direction of the city.
