February 19, Fineko/abc.az. GDP produced in Azerbaijan for January 2020 amounted to AZN 6.52 bn (rise of 2.4% against January 2019).

ABC.AZ reports on that with reference to State Statistics Committee’s report.

According to the report, value added grew by 4.9% in the non-oil sector of the economy, while it decreased by 0.7% in the oil & gas sector. Industry made up 44.2% of GDP, and trade made up 9.9%.

In trade, 6.9% accounts for transport and storage, 4.6% for construction, 2.9% for agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.6% for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.9% for information & communications, and 19% for other areas. Net taxes on products and imports made up 8% of GDP.

GDP per capita totaled 655.3 manats.
