February 20, Fineko/abc.az. The State Tourism Agency supports the construction of medium- and low-budget hotels in the districts of Azerbaijan.

The above-mentioned statement was made for ABC.AZ by STA’s head Kenan Guluzade.

According to Guluzade, speech is more about three-star hotels. He noted that the proposals have already been prepared in this regard.

“For this purpose, a package of proposals has been prepared and is being discussed with other structures. The proposals reflect the matters of creating more favorable conditions for investors. In other words, we’re discussing both tax benefits for investors and the availability of benefits for lending. Currently, Azerbaijan is numbering 649 hotels. 44 of them were opened last year. Of them, 32 are located in Baku and 12 in the districts of the country. Of course, hotels and hostels will be built, so this process continues."
