Construction of a substation for metro to begin this year - Statement

February 24, Fineko/abc.az. Construction of a substation near metro station Nizami intended for Baku Metro CJSC is to begin in 2020.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion by Baku Metro’s spokesman Bakhtiar Mammadov.

According to Mammadov, work on the construction of the substation is a decision of the Cabinet Ministers, and currently assessment of residential premises on this territory is underway.

"This process will be carried out consistently, in accordance with the law. Project works will also be completed in 2020. Then the construction of the substation will begin," the spokesman emphasized.
