February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund has published the report for 2019.

ABC.AZ reports that according to SOFAZ, it transferred AZN 11.36 bn to the State Budget for 2019.

AZN 200 million were allocated for the measures aimed at improving the social situation and settling families of refugees and IDPs. SOFAZ's management expenses for 2019 amounted to AZN 24.3 million.

As of 1 January 2020 SOFAZ’s assets amounted to $43.323 bn with an increase of 12.48% by early 2019 ($38.515 bn). The growth of assets occurred due to SOFAZ's budget revenues, including income from managing funds. During the relevant period, the highest return was observed in the sub-portfolio of shares, and positive returns were recorded on each type of asset in the investment portfolio.

Thus, despite the negative return (-6.6%) on the sub-portfolio of shares in 2019, the relevant figure made up 21.5% (including private shares).
