ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by President Ilham Aliyev at the 6th Ministerail Meeting within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council held in Baku last week.

The head of state noted that Azerbaijan is numbering many modern shipyards that produce necessary vessels for both the country and the consortium: "We’ve built six international airports. One of them is the 5-star Heydar Aliyev International Airport. It is one of the Top 10 five-star airports in the world. We’ve upgraded our railway system, and this process continues. According to the Davos World Economic Forum, Azerbaijan ranks 12th in the world on railway efficiency. Azerbaijan ranks 11th in the world on airline efficiency. As for road quality, our country ranks 27th in the world. Azerbaijan also ranks 34th position on infrastructure quality. Thus, the development of the transport sector was rapid."
