House demolition to continue on Sovetskaya - Report on Yasamal district

March 3, Fineko/abc.az. A decision has been made to demolish 2,010 houses and facilities on the territory of Sovestkaya, where 1,964 houses have been demolished so far.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Yasamal district executive power’s head Elshad Hasanov at the reporting session on the results of executive power’s work for 2019.

He noted that at the previous stage the demolition and landscaping works were completed on Sovetskaya district. According to Hasanov, in accordance with Cabinet Ministers’ resolutions #51 from 16 February 2018 and #572 from 29 December 2018, in accordance with the Baku City General Plan for state needs with the purpose of laying communication lines of national importance, the purchase of 1,130 units of facilities in the territory between Nabat Ashurbekova, Suleyman Tagizade, Abdulla Shaig and Chingiz Mustafayev Streets, 880 facilities in the territory between the Nariman Narimanov Avenue, Ismayilbek Gutgashinli, Bashir Safaroglu Streets and Mirzaga Aliyeva, a total of 2,010 residential and non-residential properties in Baku: "In order to implement these decisions, the purchase of residential and non-residential facilities began in May 2018, and so far, 1,964 facilities where 2,002 families live have been purchased for state needs. In accordance with the calculation procedure established by the Ministry of Finance, the Yasamal District Executive Power paid additional material assistance in the amount of AZN 32,087,842 to property owners living at 2,0002 addresses."
