President orders on AZN 700,000 for Azerbaijan Amelioration & Water Economy Company

March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on additional measures aimed at improving the provision of irrigation water for cultivated areas and meeting the population’s demand for drinking water in Agstafa.

The decree says about the allocation of AZN 700,000 to Azerbaijan Amelioration & Water Economy Company for the design and drilling of 10 artesian wells with the purpose to improve the provision of irrigational water for acreage and farmland used for planting in nine settlements of Agstafa district with the population of 233,334 residents, as well as to meet the needs of population in drinking water
