Business loans to be increased

March 5, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting of the heads of the Azerbaijan Banks Association and leading commercial banks has been held at the Central Bank on 4 March.

ABC.AZ was informed at the CBA that all banks were given additional tasks concerning further activation of business loans.

In the course of discussions the sides also assessed the impact of prudential regulation requirements applied to encourage business loans.

Measures to optimize consumer loans were also covered during the meeting. It was noted that new regulative norms have been adopted to regulate the growth rate of consumer loans in general.
