Number of companies with foreign investments has grown versus 2019

March 6, Fineko/abc.az. 15,059 commercial legal entities with foreign investments had been registered in Azerbaijan in the period of up to 1 March 2020. 9,953 of them are operating actively, while activity of 4,307 ones was suspended and 799 legal entities liquidated.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Taxes that this indicator is by 1.5 times more against the same term of 2019. Of them, 77% are limited liability companies, 19% are representative offices or branches of foreign legal entities in Azerbaijan, 0.8% are joint-stock companies, 0.2% are cooperatives, and 2.8% are other legal entities.
