March 10, Fineko/abc.az. With the purpose to prevent the threat of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), urgent measures and disinfection are conducted daily in the morning and evening hours at the Baku International Bus Terminal, as well as in the entire territory of the bus terminal.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Bus Terminal that during the day more than 300 buses are disinfected and sent for bus routes. Over the past 10 days 60,270 passengers were sent from the bus station to 2,628 bus routes. Traveling on 175 bus routes was ensured for 3,455 passengers to international destinations (Georgia, Russia, Turkey).

The largest number of passengers was observed on 3 March. On this day about 13,000 passengers on 470 bus routes were provided with tickets. On other days the number of passengers in accordance with the daily rate fluctuated between 6,000-8,000.
