March 10, Fineko/abc.az. The monthly oil market report of the International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasts about the decrease of the daily oil demand by 730,000 barrels this year.

The above-said decline in the oil demand will be caused by worldwide-spred Covid-19 epidemic and non-made decision on the next cuts of oil production by OPEC and non-OPEC countries.

The report says that this year the countries of the Asia-Pacific region will be in the first place with daily demand for oil of 35.7 million bpd. The next positions will be occupied by the American continent with 32 million bpd and Europe with 14.7 million bpd.

The global demand for oil is expected to reach 100.2 million bpd in 2020.
