March 13, Fineko/abc.az. The matters of cooperation on achievement of access to the Asian markets and back have been discussed with the purpose of cargo transportation by Austria’s Rail Cargo Group in the East-West direction.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) that the issue was discussed in a meeting between ADY chairman Javid Gurbanov and Thomas Kargl, a member of the Board of the Austrian company.

Kargl noted that over the last few years relationships between Azerbaijan and Austria have been expanding in all spheres, including the economic one. The Austrian side is interested in intensifying these ties and implementing infrastructure projects.

The meeting was attended by Taleh Ziyadov, the general director of the Baku International Sea Trade Port, and Galib Israfilov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Austria.
