Volume of oil & gas sector decreased

March 13, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of Azerbaijan’s GDP for Jan-Feb 2020 grew by 2.8% (versus the 2019 same term) up to AZN 12.578 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that value added in the non-oil sector of the economy increased by 6.7%, while in the oil & gas sector declined by 2.1%.

43.6% of GDP accounts for industry, 9.6% for trade; transportation vehicle repair, 6.9% for transport and storage, 4.7% for construction, 2.9% for agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.6% for tourist accommodation and catering, 2.0% for information and communication, 18.6% for other areas, 9.1% - net taxes on products and imports.
