Oil prices grow after a strong fall, Azeri Light drops by 11%

March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are rising during Tuesday’s trading after their strong fall the day before.

At the end of trading on 16 March at the London ICE Futures Exchange, May’s futures for Brent oil fell in price by $3.80 (11.23%) to $30.05 per barrel.

By 9:45 am, Brent futures for May increased by $0.56 (1.86%) up to $30.61 per barrel.

At the end of trading on 16 March at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), April’s WTI oil futures decreased in price by $3.03 (9.55%) to $28.70 per barrel.

By 9:45 am, WTI futures for April grew by $1.13 (3.94%) up to $29.83 per barrel.

The price of crude oil Azeri Light declined by $3.77 (11.4%) to $29.37 per barrel.
