March 17, Fineko/abc.az. In connection with the decision to suspend Azerbaijan-Turkey flights Azerbaijan's national airline AZAL on behalf of the government has carried out on 16 March one charter flight Baku-Istanbul-Baku for the return of Azerbaijani citizens who were on the territory of Turkey.

ABC.AZ was informed at AZAL’s press service that 237 Azerbaijani citizens were delivered to their homeland by this flight at 10:04 pm on Baku time.

Earlier, 474 Azerbaijani citizens were delivered from Istanbul to Baku on 15 March.

A hotline has been created recently at the Embassy and Consulate General of Azerbaijan to respond promptly to possible requests from our citizens living, studying or temporarily residing in Turkey.
