Azerbaijan Central Bank failed to place short-term notes fully

January 4, Fineko/abc.az. An auction on Central Bank’s short-term notes has been held.

The Baku Stock Exchange reports that today the Central Bank has sold notes with registration number 50100167S.

The notes were offered in the amount of AZN 250 million for the 27-day circulation term.

The 7 investors submitted 9 bids for purchase of notes in the amount of AZN 80.06 million. Investors gave notes from AZN 98.8882 (14.99%) up to AZN 98.9984 (13.48%).

Under the CBA decision, the cut-off price was set at AZN 98.8882 (yield: 14.99%) and the weighted average price was set at AZN 98.9222 (yield: 14.52%). As a result, the notes were placed for AZN 80.062 million.

The maturity date of the notes is 31 January 2018.
