Customs Committee: Azerbaijan`s export to Iran drops

March 18, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Feb 2020 the trade turnover between Iran and Azerbaijan sharply decreased.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that both export from Iran and export of Azerbaijan to the neighboring country declined during this period. So, if for Jan-Feb 2020 this indicator was $8.426 million, then for the 2019 same term exports from Azerbaijan amounted to $9.975 million. And this means a decline of 15.5%.

It should be noted that the trade turnover is conditioned by a restriction applied at the borders with Iran in connection with coronavirus.
