March 30, Fineko/abc.az. An online event between governmental agencies and travel companies has been organized.

ABC.AZ reports that at the event it was noted that the coronavirus and related bans, the cancellation of mass events in the country, the cessation of tourist flow and restrictions on the activities of hotel restaurants have caused great damage to companies working in this field.

It was noted that local hotels, recreation centers and even restaurants were forced to cut employees, reduce salaries and other expenses.

At the event Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov stressed that various measures are planned to support the sector. Among them are extension of the terms of loans, maintenance of the main debt, subsidizing interests, and much more: "Best practices are considered in favor of entrepreneurs. Best practices will be applied and a good environment will be created. All issues were considered, numerous meetings were held, and on their basis, the best mitigating proposals will be taken into account given the current situation.”
