Central Bank fails to raise AZN 200 million at a deposit auction

March 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan did not manage to raise AZN 200 million in a deposit auction.

"On 30 March the CBA held another deposit auction for banks, in which it was unable to raise AZN 200 million, since the offer at the auction was only AZN 189 million. The weighted average rate during the auction was 6.96%," the CBA reported.

The funds were raised for the period of 14 days.

The CBA started holding deposit auctions since June 2016.
