Amendments made to this law at an online session of Milli Majlis


March 30, Fineko/abc.az. At today’s online session of the Azerbaijani parliament an amendment has been made to the Urban Planning & Construction Code.

ABC.AZ reports that the provision envisaged in the first sentence of Article 11.1 of the Code on the compliance of construction projects with urban planning documentation will enter into force not in 7, but in 8 years from the date of entry into force of the Code.

This change was adopted during the discussion of the law on approval, entry into force and legal regulation of the Urban Planning & Construction Code of Azerbaijan.

In Article 2.2 of the document, word "7 years” is replaced by word “8 years”.

This article of the Code says that construction projects must meet the requirements established by urban planning documentation, including a detailed plan.

The Code was approved on 29 June 2012.
