Population`s term deposits in banks decreased last month

March 31, Fineko/abc.az. In February population’s term deposits in banks decreased by AZN 58.1 million to AZN 5.578 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the statistics of the Central Bank that term deposits of the population also decreased in January. In the same month population’s term deposits reduced by AZN 22.6 million. Thus, for the first 2 months the decrease was AZN 80.7 million.

For Jan-Feb 2020 the deposits grew by AZN 144.7 million up to AZN 2.99 bn. Due to the growth of demand deposits, the total deposits of individuals increased by AZN 64 million.
