April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The number of salary cards decreased in Azerbaijan for February 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the statistics of the Central Bank that last month the number of salary cards dropped by 8,000 to 2.347 million. In total, quantity of payment cards amounted to 7.832 million this February (by 119,000 cards more versus the index by the end of January). The increase in the number of cards is linked with a rise in social cards, credit cards, and other debit cards.

In February the number of social cards also grew by 16,000 up to 2.723 million, salary and other debit cards by 50,000 up to 1.872 million, and the number of credit cards by 61,000 up to 890,000.

Over the past 3 months the number of credit cards increased by 139,000.
