April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's economic growth rate increased from 1.4% in 2018 up to 2.2% in 2019.
ABC.AZ reports that the relevant data is given in ADB’s report on Azerbaijan.
According to Bank’s report, 3.5% growth in 3/5 of the Azerbaijani economy occurred in areas other than the large-scale oil industry. Amid a 27.7% increase in gas production within Shah Deniz 2, the oil industry observed an increase of 0.4%. Due to this, oil production on Central Azeri oil field decreased by 3.3% in April and on Western Chirag oil field in October due to ongoing maintenance work.
