April 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has registered 57 cases of infection with new coronavirus (COVID-19), and infected persons have been placed in special-regime hospitals.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion at the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet Ministers.

At the same time, 12 people infected with coronavirus infection were cured and released home.

In general, out of 641 people infected with coronavirus infection, 44 people have been cured in the country over the past period, 7 people have died, and 590 people are still being treated in special-regime hospitals.

The condition of 11 of them is serious, 17 ones is estimated as moderate, the condition of the rest is stable.

Azerbaijan is taking appropriate measures on examination of 4,369 people placed in various quarantine zones.

Over the past period more than 45,000 tests were conducted to detect new cases of infection.
