Transport links between Azerbaijan and Georgia fully stopped

April 7, Fineko/abc.az. All the checkpoints on the border of Georgia with Azerbaijan have been closed for traffic.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian media that the statement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. With the purpose to prevent the coronavirus epidemic in Azerbaijan, ground and air transportation was suspended from 5 to 20 April. The border crossing points “Red Bridge”, “Lagodehi", "Samtskaro" and "Mtkvari" on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border are closed for the movement of individuals. These restrictions do not cover cargo transportation.
