Garlic has grown in price by 73.0% in neighboring country - food prices also increased

April 7, Fineko/abc.az. The list of the most expensive food products in Georgia for past month has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian media that the largest increase in price affected garlic. So, in March the price of garlic grew by 73.0%. Lemon, the price of which increased by 66.85%, ranks the 2nd place among most expensive vegetables. The next places for price growth are as follows: buckwheat (63.1%), apples (61.55%), watermelons (58%), beets (34.5%), peaches (33.71%), potatoes (32.87%), grapes (32.51%) and kiwis 31.5%. The monthly inflation rate in the neighboring country was 0.7% in March.
