April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The report of insurance companies in Azerbaijan has been published.

ABC.AZ informs that the total liabilities of insurers for the reported period grew by 18.3% up to AZN 782.79 million. Obligations in 14 of them increased and in seven they reduced.
In particular, companies’ total long-term liabilities increased by 18.2% up to AZN 743.04 million, while the total short-term liabilities by 20.2% up to AZN 39.75 million. 14 companies increased their long-term liabilities and 13 ones increased their short-term liabilities.

Last year, the total balance sheet capital of insurance companies increased by 4.85% up to AZN 474.69 million, and the total authorized capital by 6.65% up to AZN 366.35 million. Out of the market participants, 16 increased their balance sheet capital, and 4 - their authorized capital.
