Labor Minister: Money to support businesses and population to be increased

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The government estimates a package of measures to support businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic at the level of AZN 3 bn ($1.76 bn).

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Minister of Labor & Social Protection Sahil Babayev in an interview for TV channel Real TV. The minister noted that these measures will be funded from the State Budget and other sources: "These funds will be used to provide financial support to businesses and the population. The amount of assistance to the population will be about AZN 400 million ($235 million)."
