Facilities closed for quarantine violation in some areas of Baku

April 10, Fineko/abc.az. Raids have been carried out in various districts of the Azerbaijani capital with the participation of employees of the Baku City Trade & Services Department, district executive authorities of the capital, the Food Safety Agency and representatives of law enforcement agencies to determine the places of slaughtering livestock and other points of sale of food.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku City Mayor’s Office that as a result of the raids, a number of breaches were found out and appropriate measures were taken.

In particular, slaughtering sites that violate sanitary rules and do not comply with quarantine requirements were identified at the addresses of Jeyhun Hajibeyli, Mirmakhmud Kazymovsky, Yusif Vezirov, Gadir Mammadov and others. Activity of these facilities has been suspended, the structures where some points are located have been dismantled, the used iron suspensions removed, and the surrounding area disinfected.

Raids will be conducted regularly in all districts of Baku.
